INAUGURAL RUSH KARTING SERIES "MANUFACTURERS NIGHT" AT STATELINE A SUCCESS; OVER $2500 IN PRODUCTS DISTRIBUTED TO COMPETING RUSH RACERS

August 19, 2021                     FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)...On Saturday night, August 14, Stateline Speedway Karts in Busti, New York held their traditional under the lights program with the "big track" at Stateline sitting idle.  The RUSH Karting Series used the platform to hold its inaugural "Manufacturers Night" as over $2,500 in valuable products were awarded to competing RUSH racers in the RUSH Amateur, JR-1, JR-2, and Adult divisions.

The "Manufacturers Nights" debuted in 2012 for the Late Model division.  As time went on and new classes such as the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, RUSH Sprint Cars, and RUSH Pro Mods were added, these divisions were able to have annual nights where thousands of dollars of products are given away to competing racers.  Typically, more than $40,000 in products is awarded to the Late Model division via two "Manufacturers Nights" presented by MSD Performance, while the product values have increased over the years for the other divisions.

The RUSH Karting Series is in the second year of operation.  The inaugural 2020 season had some setbacks trying to launch during the COVID-19 pandemic, but nonetheless got off the ground, and the 2021 season has experienced a lot of growth.  In fact, back on May 1, a record 11 RUSH Adult Karts took the green in the feature!

Stateline has been the home base of the RUSH Kart program; thus why they was chosen to host the inaugural "Manufacturers Night".  The "big track" at Stateline currently hosts weekly RUSH Late Model, RUSH Pro Mods, and RUSH Stock Car racing.  Scoring RUSH Karting Series feature wins on Saturday night were Emmie Bush (Amateur), Ryan Chase (JR-1), Wyatt Long (JR-2), and another female racer in Morgan Curry (Adult).  Curry joined Jill Rickard as female Adult winners this year, while Bush has four victories to her credit this year in the Amateur class.

During Saturday night's program, all of the competing RUSH Kart racers drew for the 20 valuable giveaways.  The top prize was a RUSH Kart Base Engine from Precise Racing Products valued at $472, which was won by Jay Curry!  Bexley Smith, who leads the Amateur points, won the second top prize, which was a complete kart wrap from 3C Graphix!  3C is operated by RUSH Late Model racer Matt Latta.

A special thank you to the following speedways who purchased $100 gift certificates at nearby Kart Works for giveaways: Bradford Speedway, Genesee Kartway, KB Speedway, McKean County Raceway, and The New Stateline Speedway.  The complete list of giveaways including winners is posted below.

"We were happy to be able to provide this program to our Kart racers," explained RUSH Director Vicki Emig.  "We have to thank all of the contributors for making this inaugural night possible.  And like our big car divisions, the amount of giveaways will increase as the division grows."
